PHD RESEARCHER (2 POSITIONS)
Two PhD Researcher Contracts associated with the DELaw Project with
reference number 101163065 within the EUROPEAN RESEARCH COUNCIL program (STARTING GRANT 2024)
Position:
The DELaw project aims to find ways to integrate the principles of degrowth into the law, in order to reorientate our society at the required
scale and pace. To do so, DELaw proposes an ambitious comparative
interdisciplinary analysis of EU and Member States’ energy law, with a
focus on the legal regime for energy storage and especially batteries.
The team (composed of 7 researchers in total) will create a new methodological framework for the inclusion of degrowth principles into the
law and will propose a set of recommendations for lawmakers both at
EU and national levels.
For this position, candidates should propose 2 European Union countries
they wish to study, based on their knowledge of the language, culture
and institutions as well as their own interest. These 2 countries should
preferentially pertain to the following geographical areas: Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Spain or Portugal.
